Spiritual Assault
Physical assault is bad, but Mr. Scott puts his finger on the real violence
being perpetrated on all public school students. It is an assault on
the mind and the spirit. It is education that pretends God does not
exist. There can be no true knowledge apart from the Author of all knowledge. Public schools pretend neutrality, but Jesus said, "he who is not with me is against me". Neutrality is a myth. Government schools are anti-Christian and anti-God. Our free Special Report tells you how bad it really is. Dan Smithwick of the Nehemiah Institute has been tracking the decline for the past 15 years. His PEERS test measures a student's biblical worldview as defined by their beliefs about Politics, Economics, Education, Religion, and Social issues. His findings will shock you. Hopefully, they will shock you into action. Get your kids out! Christians have sent their children into the public schools to evangelize, but guess who gets converted? You pit a 14 year old Christian against a 44-year old humanist and the humanist almost always wins. The damage is obvious in their PEERS scores. Perhaps even more shocking are the worldview scores of Christian students in Christian schools. Christian schools employ teachers trained by the secular system. In most cases they use textbooks with the same secular worldview. What do you suppose this produces?
The Classical Alternative
You may be tempted to despair, "is there any answer?" Fortunately, there
is. The answer lies in a return to the time-tested educational methods
of the past -- a classical, Christian education. This was the model that prevailed for centuries, prior to the 1800s. That was when John Dewey foisted his disastrous Progressive Education system on American schools. What is a classical, Christian education, you are probably wondering? Good question. The free Special Report I'm going to place in your hands in just seconds comes with a free subscription to our Classical Reflections newsletter. In this biweekly publication you'll learn all about the benefits of the classical approach. Not only is classical education rich in content, but it equips your children with the lost tools of learning. Tools like logic and rhetoric and knowledge of the classics that will put them a step ahead of the pack for the rest of their lives. With Classical Reflections you'll also have exclusive access to a catalog of Special Reports on the crisis of government education and the classical Christian alternative. The reports have been specially prepared by authorities such as Gene Veith (World Magazine), Christine Field (Senior Correspondent for Old Schoolhouse Magazine), and Dr. Jay Wile (Apologia Science). These reports are not available from any other source. They'll give you insider knowledge on the latest trends and issues in the world of homeschooling and classical Christian education.
